Suchitra Mattai’s mixed media drawings are inclined to challenge familiar ways of thought in order to complicate the way we perceive culture and identity. Often including architecture or man-made objects, Mattai pairs them with colorful patterns that explore the chaotic nature of environment and the human tendencies to control it.
Project Street Gold began in late 2015 amidst Andrew Davis' experimentations with casting bronze. It is a project focused on collaboration with internationally renowned Muralists and Graffiti writers to create limited edition series of cast sculpture.
